How consumers opt in
Opt-in is verbal and obtained on a recorded inbound call. There is no web form signup and no recurring SMS list. The licensed producer confirms the consumer wants a one-time quote summary texted to the mobile number the consumer provides on that call.
XVLT does not send the message unless a Twilio call-recording reference exists for that call. Mobile numbers collected for this program are never sold, rented, or shared for marketing, and are not used for marketing by XVLT.
Producer verbal opt-in script
Producers on XVLT read (or substantially follow) the following before sending a quote summary SMS:
“I can text you a one-time summary of this quote to your mobile phone. It's just that one message — not marketing texts. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP anytime to opt out, or HELPfor help. Do I have your permission to send that quote summary text to [confirm mobile number]?”
The producer then records the consumer's affirmative consent on the recorded line, confirms the mobile number, and only then triggers the platform's Send Quote SMS flow.
